Book a job

Online booking is nearly ready. For now, ring us and we’ll get you booked in.

Takes about two minutes

Book online

Pick a day, tell us what’s gone wrong and add a photo if you can. We ring you straight back to take the first hour and agree a time — that’s what confirms the slot. Emergencies go straight to the phone instead.

What we do

One number for the whole system

Most jobs we take start to finish. On the bigger ones we bring in the trades — electricians, joiners, tilers, plasterers — and manage the lot, so you're not chasing five diaries and hoping they talk to each other.

Dean has project managed hundreds of jobs, up to £150,000 from first drawing to final sign-off. Twenty years in the trade and a family rooted in building means the network is people he actually knows, not names off a list.

Big jobs rarely come unstuck on the work. They come unstuck where the communication goes — and that's exactly where Dean is at his best. Whatever you're planning, big or small, ring and talk it through.

How booking works

Three simple steps to a confirmed appointment

Call now
Step 01

Tell us the job

Ring us and tell us what's gone wrong. Make, model, whatever you know β€” we start working on it from the moment you call, so we turn up already ahead of the job.

Step 02

Pay the first hour

The first hour isn't a call-out fee. It buys an engineer on site with time to diagnose it properly rather than glance and guess. Settled on the phone when you book.

Step 03

Get a fixed price

Within that first hour on site you get the price for the rest of the job, or we carry on at a fixed hourly rate. Either way you know the number before any further work begins.

Emergencies

When things get urgent

Any boiler, plumbing or heating-related emergency — please call. Don't wait on the form. We're on the phone 24 hours, every day of the year.

Book as an emergency

  • Burst pipe, or water coming through a ceiling
  • No heating or no hot water
  • Boiler locked out, leaking or showing a fault code
  • Overflow running constantly, or a tank overflowing
  • No water at all, or you can't find the stopcock

Don't use this form β€” ring us

  • Water pouring in right now β€” turn off at the stopcock, then ring 07572 492783
  • Smell of gas, or a carbon monoxide alarm sounding β€” ring 07572 492783 and open the windows
  • Anything that can't wait until morning β€” we're on the phone 24 hours

If anyone is unwell or there's a fire, call 999 first. Gas escapes can also be reported free to 0800 111 999, who can isolate the supply at the main.

Credentials

Twenty years, on the record

Screwfix run a nationwide search for Britain's top tradesperson. In 2018 the Rhyl Journal covered Dean Billingsley being picked as a North Wales regional finalist, going through to the final in Stockport.

Being nominated and reaching the final 20 taught me a lot about how I carry myself as a tradesman.

Dean Billingsley

Bringing people on

Dean has taken apprentices from their first week on site through to running their own jobs, and now leads a fleet of engineers across North Wales. He hires on character before CV, because a qualification tells you what someone can do. It tells you nothing about whether they'll turn out at two in the morning. That's the part customers feel.

Work that isn't billed

We work alongside local community groups on projects that are led by the people who actually live there, and we volunteer wherever there is a need that we can help meet. Social value isn't a box we tick at tender stage. It's the reason a trade that has worked the same patch for twenty years is still standing here today.
